Our little Gerber Gremlin at thirteen months: In light of his recent Sesame Street obsession, I'm thinking it might be time to retire this shirt. Or not...
I don't know if you plan to let him watch TV when he gets older, but we have both sets of Old School Sesame Street on DVD. There are lots of great clips from the early 70's. Young Old is welcome to borrow them anytime. (It would also be fine for you to borrow them for yourself. I won't lie; they're pretty sweet.)
Old -That'd be me. The name originates from close high school friends, and has something to do with broken ankles, illegal beer, and the wisdom of the Ancients. You'll have to ask them.
Young -The little guy who made his appearance into our world late August of 2008. He's been granted the title of Young Old, and we're deeply and madly infatuated with him. Hopefully the title of the blog makes sense now for what is essentially a lengthy love letter to our son.
Mama K -My lovely wifey, the one actually doing all the work, bless her heart. My heroine for going through the incubation process; I don't think I'd have lasted a day.
Frisco the Cat -Our jealous attack cat, whom I'm betting will be paw-deep in some droll anecdotes very soon. RIP, baby, RIP. We miss you.
Youngest- Born into our lives mid-2011, Youngest Old's tale can be found at Mama K's journal: thegiftofjune.blogspot.com. I love you equally, son, but I'm all blogged out.

ReplyDeleteAwesome. I'll be right over. As thanks, feel free to borrow our Muppets collection anytime.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading, Becky!
